Terms of Service
Last updated: September 12, 2026
Please read these Terms carefully. They describe the rules for using LoopdMed and the limits of what the service is designed to do.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and LoopdMed Technologies Inc. ("LoopdMed," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing loopdmed.com, creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or using the LoopdMed service, you agree to these Terms.
If you use LoopdMed on behalf of an organization, school, company, or another person, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that party.
2. What LoopdMed provides
LoopdMed is a study and retention platform for medical and pre-medical students. The service helps users turn missed questions and study mistakes into organized review items, tags, rules, spaced repetition workflows, and progress insights.
LoopdMed is independent. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or a substitute for UWorld, AAMC, AMBOSS, NBME, USMLE, MCAT, medical schools, licensing boards, or any official exam or QBank provider.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use LoopdMed. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use LoopdMed only with permission from a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Trials, subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
LoopdMed may offer a 7-day free trial to new users. Unless the checkout flow states otherwise, a paid subscription begins after the trial period ends and renews on the billing cycle you select.
Current pricing may include monthly and annual plans shown on the pricing page or checkout screen. Taxes may apply. Subscription terms, renewal dates, payment methods, and cancellation options may be shown by Stripe or another payment processor used at checkout.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges or the current billing period unless required by law or expressly stated in the checkout flow. To avoid another charge, cancel before the next renewal date.
We may change prices or subscription features in the future. If a change affects an active paid subscription, we will provide notice as required by applicable law or payment platform rules.
5. User content and permitted use
You retain ownership of study notes, tags, missed-question summaries, rules, flashcards, and other content you submit to LoopdMed ("User Content"). You grant LoopdMed a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, reproduce, and use User Content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
You are responsible for your User Content. You may only submit content that you have the right to use. Do not upload official exam questions, QBank explanations, copyrighted material, protected health information, patient records, or confidential third-party information unless you have all required rights and permissions.
We may remove content or restrict accounts if we reasonably believe content violates these Terms, infringes rights, creates legal risk, threatens security, or harms the service or other users.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse LoopdMed. This includes attempting to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization; scraping, crawling, or bulk exporting the service except through features we provide; reverse engineering or interfering with the service; uploading malware; bypassing security or rate limits; using LoopdMed to violate law or third-party rights; or reselling, sublicensing, or making the service available to others without our written permission.
7. Intellectual property
LoopdMed and its website, software, workflows, designs, logos, text, graphics, code, and other materials are owned by LoopdMed or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, we do not grant you any ownership rights in LoopdMed.
You may not use LoopdMed's name, trademarks, branding, or screenshots in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without our written permission.
8. No medical, academic, or exam guarantee
LoopdMed is an educational study tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, professional judgment, academic advising, admissions advice, legal advice, or official exam guidance.
We do not guarantee any score increase, pass result, academic outcome, clinical decision, match outcome, or exam performance. You remain responsible for your study decisions, use of licensed materials, compliance with school and exam rules, and verification of any information before relying on it.
9. Third-party services and materials
LoopdMed may link to, integrate with, or depend on third-party services such as hosting providers, analytics tools, payment processors, email providers, or external study resources. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
References to third-party products or exam providers are for identification and comparison only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
10. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep LoopdMed useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit parts of the service at any time, including features, plans, or content.
11. Termination
You may stop using LoopdMed at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or other users, fail to pay amounts due, misuse the service, or if we discontinue the service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions about ownership, user content licenses needed for prior operation, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.
12. Disclaimers
LoopdMed is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoopdMed and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, academic outcomes, exam outcomes, or substitute services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to LoopdMed for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or $100.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LoopdMed from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your User Content, your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice through the site, product, or email. Your continued use of LoopdMed after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the applicable state law governing LoopdMed Technologies Inc., without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts may require certain consumer claims to be brought where you live; nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under applicable law.
