Last updated: September 12, 2026
This page is written to be understandable, but it is still a legal policy. If our product or data practices change, this page should be reviewed and updated.
1. Overview
LoopdMed Technologies Inc. ("LoopdMed," "we," "us," or "our") provides a study and retention platform for medical and pre-medical students. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to loopdmed.com, our related pages, forms, and the LoopdMed product or services that link to this policy. It does not apply to third-party websites, QBanks, schools, exam providers, or services that we do not own or control.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly. We may collect your email address, name, account credentials, school or study context, support messages, survey responses, billing selections, and any information you choose to submit when creating an account, starting a trial, contacting us, or using the service.
Study content. If you use LoopdMed to log missed questions, rules, explanations, tags, notes, flashcards, schedules, or review history, we process that content so the product can organize your study workflow and show your progress. You should only add content that you are permitted to use and should avoid adding unnecessary sensitive personal, health, patient, or third-party information.
Payment information. If paid subscriptions are available, payment details may be collected and processed by Stripe or another payment processor shown at checkout. We do not intend to store full credit card numbers on our own servers.
Device and usage information. We may collect log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, interactions, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic information.
Cookies and local storage. We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences such as theme, understand usage, improve performance, and support account or payment flows.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve LoopdMed; create and manage accounts; start and administer trials or subscriptions; personalize study workflows; respond to support requests; send service, billing, security, product, and marketing communications; analyze product performance; debug issues; prevent fraud or abuse; enforce our Terms; and comply with legal obligations.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product development, research, and public reporting, provided it is not reasonably able to identify you.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your email address or study content to third-party advertisers. We may share personal information with vendors and service providers that help us operate LoopdMed, such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics, email delivery, customer support, security, and payment processing providers. These providers are allowed to use the information only to perform services for us.
We may also share information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or legal process; to protect the rights, safety, and security of LoopdMed, our users, or others; to investigate fraud or abuse; with your consent; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
5. Education, health, and exam-related content
LoopdMed is a study tool, not a medical provider, school, QBank, testing agency, or health record system. The service is not intended to collect protected health information, patient records, clinical care data, or information that would make LoopdMed a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate unless we separately agree in writing.
Do not upload real patient information, clinical records, official exam content you are not permitted to use, or third-party copyrighted explanations unless you have the right to do so.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and maintain backups. Retention periods may vary by data type.
If you ask us to delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, and legitimate business retention needs.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong password, keep your login credentials private, and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
If we learn of a security incident involving your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
8. Your choices and rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the link in the email or contacting us. We may still send transactional messages related to your account, subscription, security, or service use.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or lodge a complaint with a privacy regulator. To make a request, contact us at hello@loopdmed.com.
LoopdMed may use your study activity, tags, review history, and account settings to recommend review items, organize study workflows, or personalize product features. We do not use these recommendations to make legal, financial, medical, admissions, employment, or similarly significant decisions about you.
Some browser settings allow you to block cookies or clear local storage. Blocking certain technologies may affect site or product functionality.
9. Children and students
LoopdMed is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use LoopdMed only with permission from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. International users
LoopdMed is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your location.
